Our Mission

At Muddy Boots, our mission is simple: Let the Children Be Children. Through child-led play, we strive to foster autonomy, confidence, and independence.

We provide a space where adults intentionally step back, giving children the freedom to connect to nature and one another. Children who nurture this connection develop autonomy, resilience, and sound judgement. While we encourage children to embrace appropriate challenges, their safety is always a top priority.

A Typical Day at Adventure Club

A typical day at Adventure Club begins with a snack, followed by plenty of time exploring the outdoors. Children spend their adventure time building forts, climbing trees, painting walking sticks, digging in the mud, identifying plants and animals, engaging in imaginative play, making potions and flower crowns, and much more!

Hi, I’m Sydney!

I’m the founder and leader of Muddy Boots Adventure Club. I created Adventure Club because I believe childhood deserves more room for dirt and autonomy. As the leader of each Adventure Club session, I’m there to curate a safe environment, step back when I can, and jump in when I’m needed. I’m so glad you’re here!
